Synopsis and Details:
Bane lost his humanity ages ago. Nothing is more important than protecting his Vampire Motorcycle Club from the death magic invading his territory. The most ancient of vampires, he seeks cold, unfeeling, bloody vengeance…until a frustratingly sexy human doctor is thrust into his path. She tempts Bane to distraction. And distraction is deadly in his world.
Buttoned-up and meticulous Dr. Ryan St. Cloud never thought she’d find herself in the mix of a motorcycle club, let alone one full of terrifyingly badass vampires. Or how intrigued she is by their dark and enigmatic leader, who seems balanced on the knife’s edge of killing her…or claiming her.
But Bane’s choice is harder than it seems, because when that danger hits too close to home, he’s forced to choose between her life and everyone else’s…

Review with Rating:
I wasn’t sure if Bane’s Choice would be a book I’d like because motorcycle club books can go either way with me. If you are interested in reading this book for the motorcycle club then I will warn you that the motorcycle club is actually not a strong element in the story. Would you should expect is a paranormal romance that has more than just vampires in it.
I did end up liking the story but I was also conflicted about it. At the start, I was a little lost because I felt like I was missing pertinent background information about the characters or something like that. I also was never a huge fan of Ryan, Bane’s love interest, she just didn’t resonate with me. Although, I did like her and Bane together – so the romance was nicely done – buuttt yeah, not a huge fan of the main characters overall.
Is it wrong of me to want to continue with a series because I actually liked the supporting characters best?! I will say that they absolutely intrigued me more. Ha ha ha, that says a lot about my overall feelings on the story. I do want to continue with the series, though, because I am really interested in knowing more about Meara and Edge – they are Bane’s cohorts :D. Hopefully book two will be a better read for me.
